Eric and Jen Hague

Eric Hague is Eric Poirier's really good friend. They grew up together. Eric H and his wife Jen flew all the way from Boston to come to our wedding! That really meant a lot to Eric P. and me! A day or so after the wedding they both ended up getting sick...a really bad flu/cold type deal. It was a real bummer! :( We owe you guys BIG time!!!

Family Maui Style

I was really hoping we were not going to be asked to do Maui hand sign...hang loose?? Anyway...the photographer was really excited about it. Can you tell I was??? ;)

Another cute family picture.

Friends and Family Maui 2008

We danced to a song on the beach with friends and family. It was supposed to be "I Cross My Heart" by George Strait but due to technical difficulties it was "Me and You" by Kenny Chessney. It's kind of weird...ask anyone that knows me...I have never liked country but for some reason I really loved both of these songs! If I like country now....does that make me old?

It was so cool to be dancing to such a GREAT song on the beach with a GREAT man and such GREAT family and friends! Talk about memories for a lifetime!

This picture was a group shop. Kind of far away and just a tad windy!

An almost perfect family photo. My brother Bill was not able to make it b/c his cute little Hannah was only 2 months old!

Pia Aluli ~ More Maui Wedding stuff!

This was our minister who married us. He was really good and super nice. He also sings!! We had him sing the Hawaiian Wedding song for us which was very romantic. Here is his website: http://home.hawaii.rr.com/piaaluli/

He also read a reading we picked out which I really...really like. I think it is nice to go back and read it from time to time. The reading is called "These are the Hands"...here is is:

“These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours on your wedding day, as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow, and forever. These are the hands that will work alongside yours, as together you build your future. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch, will comfort you like no other. These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief fills your mind. These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes; tears of sorrow, and as in today, tears of joy. These are the hands that will tenderly hold your children, the hands that will help you to hold your family as one. These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it. And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.”

This was while he was singing the song. He had everyone face the ocean.

Maui - The night before the wedding!

We reserved a portion of this lounge that was located in the Sheraton. It was so much fun to have so many of our friends and family there to help us celebrate!
This is Seth, Anthony, Tyler, Ian and Nancy.
This is my mom talking with Eric's best friend Eric and his wife Jen who came all the way from Boston!

Maui Beach Time II

Relaxing in the cabana. :)

Josh & Eric went snorkeling.

Maui Beach Time

We spent a few hours on the beach with the family. These cabana's were so cool...worth every dollar!

Barb is happy :)
Trouble - Eric & Josh
This photo makes me laugh every time! We are like the 2 White Crew! We were always pleased when we could point someone else out that was whiter than us!!

MAUI!!!!

Our hotel package came with a buffet breakfast. This was our first breakfast. It was so nice to sit outside and eat breakfast. We could see & hear the ocean from our table.

My soon-to-be husband was very pleased when I got us the upgrade to the convertible for FREE! That's what happens when the first car they give you has bad breaks.
This is Black Rock. You can see this for our hotel room. People jump off of this (they are not supposed to). I think it is about a 40 foot drop. There is the lighting of the torch ceremony every night when someone will through there spear in the water and then he jumps in.
The rest of the gang arrived Thur night! We met up at Buba Gumps!
Barb had a long day of traveleing and kept the drinks coming!

Maui

My first Mai Tai! This was at Kimo's. It was really good. My hair and the weather did not really get along...but that's ok...I will go back to Maui in a second...just tell me when!

This was on a Wednesday..it rained this day so Stephanie, Jason, me and Eric found a pool table and played pool until the Maui Pool Sharks took over.
When I said it rained....it really rained!
Stephanie and me...we had to find out who had the best Mai Tai! :)
